Madeline Henderson is a production designer, set decorator, animation colorist and visual artist based in New York, NY. She is passionate about intentional creation and design that breathes life into the stories we tell and the characters that live in them.

Since moving to New York, they have worked on various shorts, feature films and tv shows as a production designer or as a member of the art/set dec department. In 2024 they worked as an art/set dec PA onboard the first season of Crutch — a live studio audience sitcom — shot at Kaufman Astoria Studios.

In 2020, she made her directorial debut with Slack, a non-narrative experimental art based visual music video for the track "Slack" from the musician Lava Gulls's 2021 album, Transience. This production was also close to her heart as an all female/nonbinary cast and crew in a male dominated cinema program. Slack was screened at Visions Film Festival at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (2021).

From look books and concept art to sourcing and execution, Madeline would love to help you bring your vision to life. Madeline Henderson is open for hire as a production designer, set decorator, art director, and creative. Get in touch below!
